I'm a huge nerd...you too?

Um...so I like words. I'm a huge nerd about books, language, journaling, records (do you guys know what a record is?), old dishes, guitars, comic books, art house films, vintage jewelry, stories that get passed down, cooking with weird recipes, making stuff up, Jadite (I'll show you some time). The list goes on...

Why? You might ask, am I telling you this? Because I believe that, in part, we are defined by what we like...by the things we enjoy. I want to know what you like, because you're interesting. Everyone is a nerd. And nerds are interesting.

What about you? What are you a huge nerd about? What are those things that make you totally geek out, even if everyone around you looks quizzically at you? I shared, right? You can too!

I know what a record is. My dad once played one for me (he has a ton). I loved it! It was rock and roll flute music! It reminded me of a forest with beautiful trees and vines and plants everywhere.

omg i have a record player!!!!! And a record with it! its sooooo cool! i love how the needle thing spins on the record, i could stare at it for hours! dont you agree?!?!

the kind of music i listin to on the record player is smoooooth jazzzzzzz. but, since my mom sold the record player in a yard sale, i havent been able to listin to it! its such a bummer!!!!

Omg my grandma has like a bunch of old records from like the eighties nd it is awesome i listened to a few of them and the way music sounded from back then to now is sooo different.!!!

Hey, I have a book to recommend if anyone can find it anywhere! It's called The Treekeepers. Don't know the author and you won't find it in the school library but it's a GREAT book!
